Carlson was one of the top men’s basketball players in school history, finishing his career with 1,540 points in 99 career games, the fourth-most in program history. Carlson was a three-time All-MIAC honoree and earned Academic All-MIAC distinction twice. He was named an NCAA Division III All-West District selection in his senior season. Carlson is ranked in the top 10 in school history in eight different statistical categories. Carlson graduated with a degree in psychology, and was named a 1993 co-Senior Honor Athlete.
