Elizabeth Petrik Brown was one of the best goalkeepers in the history of the Augsburg women’s soccer program. In her career, she started all but one game in her four seasons, finishing with 34 career victories, including a single-season record at the time of 13 in the 1995 season. She still stands second in school history with 26 career shutouts, fourth with 34 career wins and eighth with a .515 career winning percentage. Her 1.69 career goals-against-average is 10th-best in school history. Her 225 saves in her senior season are the most in a single year in program history. She was voted the team’s MVP in 1998. Elizabeth also served as a student athletic trainer during her Auggie years. She graduated with a major in physical education, and since graduating, she has volunteered as a coach for her children in youth soccer and softball in Richfield. For the last five years, Elizabeth has worked with VanWagenen Financial Services as a licensed insurance, property and casualty producer. Elizabeth has two daughters, Mikayla and Morgan, and they live in Richfield, Minnesota.
