Hannah Dietrich excelled in three sports during her Augsburg years, playing on the Auggie cross country, track and field, and hockey teams. Hannah was one of the best middle-distance runners in Auggie track history, earning All-M-I-A-C honors seven times in her career. She won the conference individual title in the indoor 800-meter run in 2005, qualifying for the N-C-A-A national championships. In 2004, she earned All-American honors as part of a seventh-place Division III national finish in the indoor distance medley relay. She was part of two conference champion relay teams, and was a part of seven school records. In cross country, she was a team captain and key runner on the 2004 Auggie squad that had one of the best seasons in more than a decade, finishing sixth at the M-I-A-C Championships and ninth in N-C-A-A regional competition. She finished 23rd as an individual at the 2004 conference meet, earning all-conference honorable mention honors. She played three seasons of hockey as a defender, scoring six goals with seven assists for 13 points in 43 career games. Hannah was a psychology major at Augsburg with a 3.67 G-P-A, earning Academic All-M-I-A-C honors seven times and Dean's List honors all eight semesters. In 2007, she earned a master's degree in experimental psychology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and earned her doctorate in psychology from Nebraska in 2013. She was a college instructor for several years, and returned to the Twin Cities in 2013, working for the Hennepin County Department of Community Corrections and Rehabilitation as a strategy and resource manager. Hannah and her partner, Nathan Howard, live in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.
