Agre was a four-year soccer standout and captain his junior and senior seasons. He was also head coach for Auggie soccer team for two seasons and led the 1974 and 1975 teams to the MIAC championship and the regional finals in 1975. Agre assisted Rolf Eriksen for five additional seasons. He is currently a professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Agre also received a Ph.D. in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the University of Minnesota.
