Bourgerie was a standout infielder for the Augsburg softball team in the late 1990s. She earned All-MIAC honors in 1999, was a two-time MIAC honorable-mention selection, and was named to the NFCA All-Midwest Region third team in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons. She currently ranks in the top 10 in school history in seven different statistical categories. Bourgerie was a Dean’s List honoree, member of the Tri Beta honor society, a Regent Scholar, Joyce Pfaff Academic Award-winner and campus ministry member. She earned Academic All-MIAC and CoSIDA Academic All-District honors in 1999, and earned NFCA Scholar-Athlete honors in both 1998 and 1999. She was named Augsburg’s co-Senior Honor Athlete in 1999. After graduating with a degree in biology, she has worked for EMSL Analytical Inc., an environmental testing firm and since 2005 has been the microbiology lab manager for the Twin Cities location. Bourgerie is a Hennepin Country Master Gardener and is married to Augsburg alumnus Jon Bourgerie ’96. The couple has two children – Eadaoin and Aleck -- and reside in St. Louis Park, Minn.
