    Joe Hoialmen was a four-time NCAA Division III national tournament qualifier, three-time MIAC champion and three-time NCAA Division III All-American. He captured the 134-pound NCAA national title in 1993 and ended his Auggie career with a record of 146-46. His individual national championship was crucial in securing the Auggies come-from-behind team national championship in 1993. Joseph finished his career with 437 takedowns, a school record at the time. He lists his Augsburg highlight as being part of Augsburg's first national wrestling championship in 1991, and all the support the team received from coaches, teammates, fans, parents, administration, faculty and former Augsburg President Charles Anderson. Joe was inducted into the NWCA Division III Hall of Fame in 2012. He was a Business Management major at Augsburg and currently works and coaches wrestling in the Winona School district. Joe currently resides in Winona, Minnesota.
