Julie Reinke Roff was one of the top Augsburg volleyball players in the late 70s and early 80s. She was selected to the Minnesota AIAW All-Tournament team in 1980 and served as team co-captain in 1981. She was a member of teams that went 87-69-10 in her career, including 27 wins in 1979 and 26 wins in 1980. Julie's Augsburg highlight was her 1979 team which placed second in MAIAW State Tournament and third in the AIAW Region 6 Tournament, including posting a key win over rival St. Catherine. The 1981 team reached the quarterfinals of the MAIAW Division III State Tournament. Julie graduated from Augsburg with a degree in physical education, specializing in Corrective Therapy with a minor in Health. She currently works at Gabberts Furniture in Edina as a Resource Coordinator. She is actively involved in her church and remains in contact with her Augsburg roommates. Julie is married to her college sweetheart Dan, a 2009 Augsburg Athletic Hall of Famer. They reside in Plymouth, Minnesota with their children Ben, Andy, and Abby.
