A member of Augsburg men’s hockey teams that won the NAIA national title in 1982 and advanced to the NCAA Division III Final Four in 1985, Berry was the most prolific goal-scorer in school history, setting the program’s career record with 87 goals in his four-season career. He also had 69 assists for 156 career points, one of the top 10 point totals in school history. Berry earned All-MIAC honors in both 1984 and 1985, and was named a Division III All-American in 1985. A Dean’s List honoree twice, he was named an Augsburg Honor Athlete in 1985, and graduated with a finance degree in 1986.  He obtained his Master’s of Business Administration degree from St. Thomas in 1992. Berry and his wife, Nita, have three children, Alex, Patrick, and Bailey, and live in Southlake, Texas, where he is currently the chief financial officer for IZ Technologies, Inc.
