Colehour transferred to Augsburg after playing this initial year at Gustavus and became part of the Augsburg's first men's hockey national championship team, the NAIA national title team of 1977-78. In three seasons at Augsburg, Colehour scored 37 goals with 30 assists for 67 career points. In the national title season of 1977-78, Colehour scored 25 goals with 15 assists for 40 points, earning All-MIAC and NAIA All-American honors. He was a part of two MIAC title teams (1976-77, 1977-78) and three NAIA national tournament squads. Colehour majored in business administration-finance and minored in physical education at Augsburg. After earning his degree, he worked in the direct marketing business for 21 years, working for Fingerhut, Deluxe, and Day-Timers, among others. In 2000, he started Suburban Home Care, a remodeling contractor and landscape design installation company. He also recently began a career at the Home Depot Pro Desk. Colehour and his wife, Gayle, have two daughters, Alese and Abby, and live in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
