Augsburg’s Honor Athlete in 1975, Mollner graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was a member of 1974-75 volleyball team that made it to regionals in Missouri, after placing second in the state tournament and was also a member of the school orchestra, earned a master’s degree in school health education from University of Minnesota. After teaching and coaching at Lakewood Community College and Mahtomedi High School, Mollner coached three sports at Minneapolis Community College where she became women’s athletic director and later the department chair. She now teaches health and physical education classes and is on phased retirement, teaching 50% of the time and planning to retire in 2012.
