A two-time All-MIAC selection (1978 and 1979) and NAIA All-District selection his junior and senior seasons, LaFleur was a member of Auggie men’s soccer teams that went 43-15-10 during his career, never finishing lower than third place in MIAC play under coaches Rolf Eriksen and Jim Agre. He was a team captain his senior season. Since graduating from Augsburg in 1980, LaFleur has worked as a certified public accountant and attorney, practicing at a firm in Minneapolis. He is president of the Partnership Resources human services agency, vice president of the St. Anthony Sports Boosters and a member of the Augsburg Alumni Board. He also served as president of the St. Anthony Chamber of Commerce for two years. LaFleur and his wife, Lori, have three children, Kathryn, Anna, and Karl, and live in St. Anthony, Minnesota.
