Yeazle was an athlete in three sports at Augsburg – football, men’s basketball and baseball. A football quarterback, Yeazle earned All-MIAC first-team and NAIA All-District 13 first-team honors in 1980, as the Auggies went 5-5 and claimed one of the biggest victories in school history, 20-10 win at St. John’s on September 13, 1980. Yeazle earned team Most Valuable Player honors in 1980. He graduated from Augsburg in 1981 with a degree in health and physical education. Professionally, he began his career as an independent contractor for a commercial moving company. He later joined Allied Van Lines, and then joined All Furniture Commercial Services, selling office and commercial moving services. He also remains active in athletics, in both softball and golf. His softball team has qualified for 17 straight national tournaments. Yeazle has two daughters – Maddee and Natalee. He and his fiancée, Sharon, live in Blaine, Minnesota.
