Stuart Nutting was an important middleweight wrestler during some of the golden years of Augsburg's men's wrestling programs. He was a part of teams that won NCAA Division III national titles in 1991 and 1993, while placing second in 1992 and fourth in 1994. One of only two seniors on the squad in the 1993-94 season, he was the team's co-captain and was voted the team's Most Valuable Wrestler, as the Auggies finished fourth nationally with a team that had lost seven seniors from the year before. He finished 35-8 in his senior year, winning the MIAC title at 150 pounds and earning All-American honors with a third-place national finish. He won 28 matches in the 1992-93 season, earning team Most Improved Wrestler honors and the outstanding wrestler award at the MIAC Team Duals. Stuart finished his career with a 96-43 record. He was an education major and earned his degree in 1994. Stuart spent 10 years in sales and sales leadership in industrial distribution for the Wurth Adams company, then began his own technology consulting company, Concord, in 2003. Along with his wife Megan, they have owned their own gym, Farmhouse Cross Fit, since 2019. Stuart and Megan have four children, Grace, Elliot, Hank and George, and live in Edina, Minnesota.
