Augsburg University Athletics

Sateren was on the first Augsburg women’s basketball team that competed against other teams in Minneapolis and she put together some record-like numbers during her career. After graduating from Augsburg, Sateren taught vocal music and directed school and children’s choir. She earned her master’s degree in psychology in 1982 from California State University at Stanislaus. She and her husband, Don, currently live in Turlock, California and have two children and five grandchildren.
