Hall earned All-American honors in wrestling four times, including twice in the 1983 season, as Augsburg competed in both the NAIA and NCAA Division III national meets. In NCAA competition, Hall finished seventh in 1983, sixth in 1984 and fifth in 1985 at 142 pounds Hall finished with a career record of 105-34, including 37 pins. He served as wrestling captain and was also a member of the Augsburg men’s soccer team his freshman year. He was a political science major and sociology minor. After leaving Augsburg, he enlisted in the armed forces and served his tour of duty in the 3rd/325th Southern European Task Force, stationed in Vicenza, Italy. After returning from duty, Hall earned his MBA degree in marketing from the University of St. Thomas, and has worked for several companies in Minnesota. He currently serves as vice president of operations for Cycle Software Services Inc., in Bloomington, Minnesota. He has been involved in Special Olympics, Courage Center and VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People), in addition to coaching youth wrestling and youth soccer. He and his wife Lynnette have a son, Mason, and live in East Bethel, Minnesota.
