LAKE FOREST, Ill. (11/12/05) -- Laura Wilson scored two goals and had an assist, with both goals coming as part of a four-goal third period, as the Lake Forest College women's hockey team scored a 6-0 victory over visiting Augsburg College in a nonconference contest Saturday night at Alumni Memorial Rink.

Sally Bevis stopped all 20 shots she faced to pick up the shutout for the Foresters, now 3-1-0 on the season. Augsburg is now 0-2-0.

Michelle Ricketts and Jocelyn Girlardo scored first-period goals for the Foresters, and Wilson, Courtney DeHoey and Allison Rushing scored goals for the Foresters in the third period. DeHoey's goal was a shorthanded tally, with Rushing's goal on the power play.

Lake Forest outshot Augsburg by a 30-20 margin. Augsburg was 0-for-10 on the power play in the game.

Jena Kleis (So., Hastings, Minn.) made 24 saves for Augsburg.

The teams finish the series on Sunday (11/13) at 2 p.m. at Lake Forest.
