ST. PAUL, Minn. --
Bre Kirch (FY, Waunakee, Wis.) swam a collegiate-best time in the 1,650-yard freestyle, as she and teammate
Dustina Granlund (SO, St. Paul, Minn.) represented the Augsburg College women's swimming team at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Invitational on Saturday at the University of St. Thomas Anderson Pool.
Kirch cut 3.01 seconds off her previous collegiate-best time with a 22:59.93 effort on Saturday. She also finished in 6:37.21 in the 500-yard freestyle.
Granlund recorded two season-best times in Saturday's meet, in the 50-yard freestyle (38.63 seconds) and in the 100-yard freestyle (1:31.60).
Augsburg competes at the MIAC Championships from Thursday to Saturday (2/16-18) at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.
