STILLWATER, Minn. -- Zach Johnson (JR, Sartell, Minn.) shot a 1-over-par 74 to lead the Augsburg College men's golf team at the "Par Aide Cup," a match-play dual meet between the Auggies and Bethel University, on Friday at the Loggers Trail Golf Club.

Bethel won the match-play event by a 6.5-to-5.5 margin over Augsburg. The front nine holes of the dual was played in a best-ball format, while the back nine holes were in individually scored match. Because the tournament was played as a match-play event, scores will not count for individual or team season-long statistics.

Eric Aughinbaugh (SO, Fargo, N.D./Fargo South HS) shot 76 for the Auggies, while Brian Deuel (SR, Vadnais Heights, Minn./White Bear Lake HS) shot 83, Justin Popp (SO, Sauk Rapids, Minn.) shot 85 and Nicholas Almstrom also shot 85.

Augsburg will return to action at the Wartburg (Iowa) Invitational next Saturday and Sunday (4/14-15) in Waverly, Iowa.
