John Slick

John Slick (Bethel '10) enters his third season as an assistant coach for the Augsburg baseball team in 2013.

Playing Career/Acheivements:
One of the top outfielders for the Royals throughout his career, Slick earned All-MIAC honors in both 2009 and 2010,  and was named to the Rawlings/ABCA All-Midwest Region second team his senior campaign, when he helped to lead the Royals to a fifth-place finish in the MIAC standings.

As one of the Royals top offensive players during his career,  Slick ranks seventh all-time in Bethel school history in career batting average, and ranks eighth all-time in career slugging percentage.

A communication studies major, Slick earned his B.A. from Bethel University in 2010. Prior to serving as an assistant coach at Augsburg, Slick worked with the baseball program at the University of Minnesota in the Dick Siebert Fall League.
