Tony Madline (Augsburg '06) enters his third season on the Augsburg staff in 2008, serving as linebackers coach. He spent the previous two seasons on the staff as a student assistant coach. Madline was a two-year letterwinner at Augsburg as an offensive lineman, starting both seasons as an offensive guard. He also competed in the 2002 season at Wisconsin-Stout. Madline was a health and physical education major at Augsburg.
A native of Stillwater, Minn., Madline played his high school football at Mahtomedi HS. He earned all-conference and all-state honors in football, and was an all-conference weight thrower on the track and field team.
