Jennifer Britz (South Dakota State '00) enters her seventh season as Augsburg's head coach in 2010-11. In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Britz teaches in Augsburg's Health and Physical Education department.
Augsburg Coaching Highlights:
2007-08 – Team finished 18th among NCAA Division III Institutions for Academics with Team GPA of 3.42
In her tenure, Britz has coached ten All-MIAC Players (All-MIAC & Honorable Mention), three All-MIAC First-Year team members and 15 Academic All-MIAC players. She has also increased the roster size from 10 to 18 over the past academic year.

Playing Experience/Achievements:
Britz was a four-year letterwinner, three-year starter and two-time honorable-mention All-North Central Conference selection during her playing days (1996-2000) at South Dakota State University, a Division II school in Brookings, S.D.
A point guard, she led the Jackrabbits in assists her sophomore, junior and senior seasons, and led the team in steals her senior campaign. She averaged 8.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game during her career. She is fifth in school history in career assists (483) and 13th in career three-pointers (55). Academically, Britz earned Academic All-NCC honors three times, and was a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection in 2000. She also earned the SDSU Gold Medal academic award three times, was president of the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee her senior year and was a conference SAAC representative.

Britz serves as an instructor in Health and Physical Education department (Kinesiology, Tennis, Biking, Foundations of Fitness, and Women’s Weight Training) and also serves as a HPE Advisor.
Personal/Family Notes:
Britz earned her master's degree in exercise training from St. Cloud State (Minn.) in 2003. She currently resides in Minneapolis with husband Ryan, son Cullen and daughter Abby.
