Assistant Coach Erica Moore (Minnesota ‘02) returns to the Auggie staff for her fourth season. She also served as an Augsburg assistant coach from 2005-07.

Moore played two seasons of volleyball (1997-98) at the University of Minnesota, as part of the first recruiting class for head coach Mike Hebert. A middle blocker, she set a Gopher single-match record with a .917 hitting percentage (11-for-12, no errors) against Missouri in 1998. Injuries ended her collegiate career after just two seasons with the Gophers.

A native of Omaha, Neb., Moore was an all-conference player for Millard North HS and earned All-State second-team honors her senior year (1997), averaging 3.98 kills and 1.42 blocks per game, hitting at a .380 efficiency. She also played club volleyball for the River City Juniors (Omaha) for four seasons, where she was a teammate of Augsburg head coach Jessica Rinehart. Moore was listed among the Volleyball magazine "Fab 50" outstanding senior list in 1997.

Moore has served as a club volleyball coach for the Minnesota Select and Northern Lights junior programs, as well as a coach at Nike volleyball camps.

In 2002, she graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in retail merchandising, and currently works at River's End Trading Company as a retail brand and private label manager. She lives in Shakopee, Minn.
