Ned Shuck (Iowa ‘05) is in his first season on the Augsburg coaching staff. Shuck was a four-time letterwinner and three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree during his collegiate career at Iowa, where he went 12-13 in his four seasons. In 2005, he received the Hawkeyes’ J. Donald McPike team award, given annually to the graduating senior with the highest grade-point average.
A native of Mapleton, Minn. (Maple River HS), he had a 129-49 high school career record, winning conference titles twice and placing second and third at the state tournament as a junior and senior, respectively. He was a four-time team Most Valuable Wrestler at Maple River HS.
