2011 NSCAA DIVISION III ALL-NORTH REGION TEAMS
MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg College women's soccer forward
Bri Clark (JR, Mound, Minn./Mound-Westonka HS) was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III All-North Region squad as a third-team recipient, it was announced recently.
Clark also earned
All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors this season. It's the first all-region honor for Clark, and the fifth for an Augsburg women's soccer player since the 2004 season.
Clark had the best year of her career in 2011, scoring a team-best 10 goals with two assists for 22 points, the sixth-most goals and 10th-most points in a single season in school history. She had a goal or assist in 10 of her 17 games played this season, and had four game-winning goals to her credit. Her 10 goals were tied for third-most among
MIAC players in overall statistics, her 22 points were fourth-most and her four game-winning goals were tied for second-most.
In her three seasons (42 games) as an Auggie, Clark now has 16 goals and three assists for 35 career points, including eight game-winning goals. Her 16 goals are tied for seventh-most in school history, while her 35 points are tied for 13th-most.

Mike Navarre, Augsburg finished 2011 season at 9-8-1 overall, 6-4-1 in MIAC play. Augsburg has recorded eight or more victories in women's soccer in eight of the last 10 seasons. Augsburg finished in fifth place in the MIAC standings, the sixth time in the last eight seasons that Augsburg has finished in the top five in the MIAC standings.
