The Augsburg Sports Medicine Program provides a valuable service to the 560 athletes that compete and train at Augsburg College.  The Sports Medicine staff facilitates the care for athletes on 21 intercollegiate teams. These medical professionals focus on prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for the Division III student athlete. 

Our Sports Medicine team consists of certified athletic trainers, orthopedic surgeons, family medicine specialists, physical therapists, chiropractors, strength and conditioning specialists and student sports medicine assistants. All of these individuals work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan tailored to each athlete’s injuries and sports performance.
