Tim Gormley (St. Mary's '87) will enter his 11th season as the Augsburg College softball coach in 2017. For the first 10 seasons, he served as head coach, and will transition into an assistant coach role in 2017. Gormley also serves the Augsburg athletic department by working with athletic concessions and merchandise.
During his tenure at Augsburg, Gormley has been responsible for leading one of the most dramatic turnarounds in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. In his nine seasons as head coach, Gormley has led the Auggies to four 20-win seasons and two top-four finishes in the MIAC regular season standings.
