The Augsburg men's hockey team will compete in the NCAA Division III National Tournament for the second time in school history this weekend, facing the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in a two-game NCAA quarterfinal series.

The Auggies, MIAC regular season and playoff champions, received an automatic berth into the eight-team NCAA Division III national playoffs, and will play the UW-River Falls Falcons in two-game series (minigame if necessary) Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, at 7:05 p.m. each nights, at the W.H. Hunt Ice Arena in River Falls, Wis. Tickets for both games are $5 each (both adult and student) and can be purchased at the Augsburg athletic office (call 330-1249 for details). No MIAC or other passes are valid for these games or any NCAA playoff events.

Here are directions to the UW-RF W.H. Hunt arena from Augsburg: Follow I-94 east from Minneapolis to Hudson, Wisconsin. Go to the Highway 35 South exit, take it and go 10 miles to the first River Falls exit. Take that exit, turn right and drive all the way through downtown. Stay on the main street and follow the S-curve along the west side of the UW-RF campus until you get to the football field/hockey arena parking lot on your left. It is about 35 miles from downtown Minneapolis to River Falls.
