Game Summary:
MINNEAPOLIS (10/10/99) -- Neil Runbeck (So., Mounds View, Minn.) scored two goals, leading the College of St. Scholastica to a 4-1 victory over host Augsburg College in a nonconference men's soccer game Sunday afternoon at Anderson-Nelson Field.
Runbeck's goals, at the 38-minute mark and 57-minute mark, were the first two for the Saints, who improved to 7-7 overall. Shaun Buker (So., New Hope, Minn.) and Bryn Pollard (Fr., Duluth, Minn.) had the last two goals in the final 10 minutes of play.
Emmanuel Kalu (Sr., Lagos, Nigeria) had the lone goal for the Auggies, who fell to 2-8 overall with their seventh loss in a row.
Ryan Ringsred (Sr., Duluth, Minn.) made five saves in goal to pick up the victory for the Saints. Gustavuo Quintiliano (Jr., Brasilia, Brazil/Mound-Westonka, Minn., HS) made five saves in a losing effort for Augsburg.
Augsburg plays at St. Olaf on Tuesday afternoon.
