MOORHEAD, Minn. (10/18/00) -- Concordia-Moorhead scored three goals in a seven-minute span in the first half, enough for a 3-1 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over visiting Augsburg College Saturday afternoon at Concordia.
Concordia improves to 8-5 overall and 3-4 in the MIAC, while Augsburg drops to 6-9 overall and 2-6 in the MIAC.
Jordi Kortan (Sr., Moorhead, Minn.) had a part in each of the three Cobber goals, scoring the firstand third goals and assisting Whitney Ostrem (Sr., Roseville, Minn.) on the second. The three goals were scored in a 6-minute, 49-second span in the first half.
Augsburg's lone goal was tallied by

Simone Burch (Fr., St. Paul, Minn./Arlington HS) in the 78th minute.
Augsburg was outshot 25-6 in the contest.
