Game Summary:
NORTHFIELD, Minn. (2/26/00) -- Elisa Hatlevig (Jr., Rushford, Minn./Rushford-Peterson HS) scored 15 points and pulled down 12 rebounds Saturday, leading St. Olaf College to a 60-58 comeback victory over Augsburg College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball game at St. Olaf.
St. Olaf finished the season 9-16 overall and 9-13 in the MIAC, while Augsburg finished 6-19 overall and 6-16 in the MIAC. The six wins for Augsburg marks a three-game improvement from last season's 3-22, 3-19 finish.
St. Olaf trailed Augsburg 39-28 at halftime, but came back to outscore the Auggies 32-19 in the second half to claim the home victory.
Carrie Cooley (So., Villard, Minn./Minnewaska Area HS) had 12 points and three steals for th Oles, while Amanda Renneke (So., Northfield, Minn.) scored 11 points. Alicia Harrison (Sr., Wichita, Kan./Wichita East HS) scored eight points and pulled down 12 rebounds.
For Augsburg,
Jaime Kingsley (Jr., Harmony, Minn./Fillmore Central HS) notched her seventh double-double of the season and second in a row, with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Jodi Soule (Sr., Cannon Falls, Minn.), playing in her last collegiate game, scored in double figures for the 14th time this season (and seventh game in a row) with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Rachael Ekholm (So., Richfield, Minn.) had nine points, hitting three 3-pointers to give her a single-season school record 53 this season.
Erin Brockberg (Jr., Pipestone, Minn./Pipestone-Jasper HS) had nine points and six rebounds.
