Mike Elcano (So., Sparks, Nev./Bishop Manogue HS) was AugsburgÂ's most active offensive threat, accounting for three of the AuggiesÂ' seven shots.
Indresano got the Knights rolling in the fifth minute with his first goal of the season, as HaynesÂ' cross found Indresano alone on the left side as he hammered home his first goal of the season.
The Knights struck again in the 23rd minute when WatsonÂ's pass found Adegunju alone on the right flank. He was brought down in the penalty box and Indresano converted on the penalty kick. Adegunju scored in the 36th minute, as Watson found Josh Petty (Fr., Marshall, Mich.) on the near post. Petty headed the ball back to an uncovered Adegunju, who blasted home his second goal of the season.
Carleton erased any doubts of a comeback, controlling play immediately in the second half, with Watson picking up his team- and league-leading fifth goal of the MIAC season. Nadim Ilbawi (Sr., Oak Brook, Ill./Hinsdale Central HS) beat his man on a one-on-one situation and crossed for Watson, who beat the Auggie keeper.
Carleton scored less than four minutes later, as Watson set up Sutherland with a perfect cross right in front of the goal-mouth. The Knights tacked on their final goal in the 82nd minute, as Andrew Huffer (So., Boulder, Colo.) stole the ball away in the Augsburg third and found Haynes in front of the goal. The Carleton senior forward beat the keeper into the upper right corner of the net for his fourth goal of the season.
