TOURNAMENT STATS

OSHKOSH, Wis. (10/26/02) -- Denise Foster (Sr., Little Canada, Minn./Roseville HS) led all players with 27 kills, hitting .234, as Augsburg College played three games at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Quadrangular tournament over the weekend at the Kolf Sports Center.

Augsburg went 0-3 at the tournament to fall to 2-21 overall. Augsburg lost to host Wisconsin-Oshkosh 30-18, 30-22, 30-24 on Friday. On Saturday, Lake Forest (Ill.) topped the Auggies 30-26, 30-21, 30-22; and the University of Chicago (Ill.) topped Augsburg 30-22, 30-14, 30-23.

Foster had 13 kills against Oshkosh, hitting .323, and seven kills each against Lake Forest and Chicago. She also had 16 dis.

Lisa Miller (Sr., Hanover, Minn./Buffalo HS) led the Auggies with nine blocks (two solo), adding 18 kills. Miller had four blocks in both the Oshkosh and Lake Forest matches.

Paula Pogatchnik (Sr., Finlayson, Minn./Hinckley-Finlayson HS) had 22 kills and 23 digs, and Kristy Larson (So., Pine Island, Minn.) had 14 kills. Mandy Good (Jr., Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan HS) had 26 digs. Anna Piermantier (Jr., Afton, Minn./Stillwater HS) compiled 79 assists and 32 digs on the weekend. She had 29 assists against Oshkosh, 23 against Lake Forest and 27 agaiunst Chicago.

Augsburg has its final Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match of the season on Wednesday (10/30) at 7:30 p.m., playing at Bethel.
