MINNEAPOLIS (10/9/02) -- Eilidh Reyelts (Fr., Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall HS) tied the game in the 76th minute for Augsburg College, as the Auggies claimed a 1-1 overtime tie with the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in a nonconference women's soccer game Wednesday night at Augsburg's Edor Nelson Field.

With the tie, Augsburg moves to 6-3-1 overall. Wisconsin-River Falls saw its school-record six-game winning streak come to an end in moving to 8-2-1 overall.

Reyelts scored off a crossing pass from Tia Chronis (Fr., Braham, Minn.) and put the ball in the empty net with 14:45 remaining in regulation play. The tying goal came eight minutes after River Falls put its lone goal on the board.

The Falcons' Amy Gilfillan (Jr., Cottage Grove, Minn./New Life Academy HS), one of the top scorers in the nation, scored her 20th goal of the season on a feed from Emily Rodgers (So., Richfield, Minn.). Gilfillan split the defense and beat Augsburg goalkeeper Laura Hoffman * (Jr., Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy HS) for the goal in the 68th minute. Gilfillan has now scored in seven straight games and nine of River Falls' 11 games this season.

Augsburg outshot River Falls by a 19-12 margin, including a 5-3 margin in the 20 minutes of overtime. Augsburg had five corner kicks to River Falls' one.

Apryl Jennrich (Jr., Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) made nine saves for the Falcons, while Hoffman made seven saves for the Auggies.

Augsburg returns to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Saturday (10/12), hosting Carleton at 7 p.m. at Edor Nelson Field. River Falls returns to Wisconsin- Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Friday (10/11) at 7 p.m., playing at Wisconsin-Stout.
