MINNEAPOLIS (9/18/02) -- St. Mary's University outshot Augsburg College by a 29-16 margin, but neither team could put the ball in the net in 110 minutes of action Wednesday night, as the two teams played to a scoreless, two-overtime tie in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer match at Augsburg's Edor Nelson Field.

Bob Endemann (So., Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove HS) made four saves for the shutout for St. Mary's, now 1-2-2 overall and 0-0-1 in the MIAC. Augsburg's Han Zeller (Jr., Winona, Minn.) played the first half and made three saves, while Chad Clausen (Fr., St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park HS) made four saves in the second half and overtime for Augsburg, now 2-3-2 overall and 0-0-1 in the MIAC.

St. Mary's had 13 corner kicks, including two in overtime, but could not convert them into scores. Augsburg managed just two corner kicks in the match.

Both teams return to action on Saturady (9/21) at 1 p.m., Augsburg hosting Bethel and St. Mary's hosting Carleton.
