NORTHFIELD, Minn. (1/21/05) -- Jason Fleck (Fr., Camrose, Alberta/Camrose Composite HS) scored early in the third period to tie the game, and Tony Ciro (Jr., Spring Lake Park, Minn./Hill-Murray HS) made 37 saves for Augsburg College, as the Auggies tied St. Olaf College 1-1 in overtime in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's hockey contest Friday night at the Norhfield Ice Arena.

St. Olaf struck first with 9:18 to play in the second period on a goal by Justin Greene (Fr., Shorewood, Minn.), assisted by Andy Ockuly (Fr., Hudson, Wis.). The assist was Ockuly's first point in his college career.

Fleck scored at the 2:44 mark of the third period on an assist from Critter Nagurski (So., International Falls, Minn.).

The Oles outshot the Auggies 38-26 for the game in a tight defensive matchup. Augsburg outshot St. Olaf by a 2-1 margin in overtime. Dan Kehler (Jr., Woodbury, Minn.) made 25 saves for St. Olaf.

Augsburg is now 6-6-4 overall, 3-2-2 in MIAC play, while St. Olaf is now 6-5-3 overall, 1-3-1 in MIAC play.

The teams complete the two-game MIAC series on Saturday (1/22) at 7 p.m. at the Augsburg Ice Arena.
