MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. (1/27/06) -- Senior Tanaya Reitz had three goals and two assists and senior Becky Kilpatrick stopped 21 of 22 shots as No. 5-ranked St. Thomas (14-1 overall, 9-0 MIAC) topped visiting Augsburg College (6-9-2 overall, 5-4-2 MIAC) in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's hockey game Friday night at the St. Thomas Arena.

The Toms scored three goals in the game's first 3:01, including a tally 16 seconds into the contest.

Senior Melanie Drake had two goals and one assist and senior Maureen Hardwick added three assists. The Toms improved to 7-0 at home this season and extended their home conference win streak to 16.

Reitz now has 10 goals and nine assists in her last seven games.

Augsburg's lone goal came from Katie Medd (So., Mankato, Minn./East HS) on an unassisted first-period tally.

The teams complete the series on Saturday (1/28) at 7 p.m. at the Augsburg Ice Arena.
