MINNEAPOLIS (12/30/06) -- Jen Adamson (Sr., Fargo, N.D./Oak Grove HS) led all players with 19 points, seven rebounds and five steals, pacing Northwestern College-Roseville to a 69-60 victory over host Augsburg College in a nonconference women's basketball game Saturday afternoon at Si Melby Hall.

Katie Tuseth (Jr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) connected on five 3-pointers to score 18 points, with four rebounds, three assists and five steals, and Aimee Lind (Sr., Rib Lake, Wis.) had 12 points for the Eagles, now 2-9 on the season.

Host Augsburg (1-6 overall) was led by Megan Krumrie (So., Elk Mound, Wis.), who had a career-high 17 points with eight rebounds and three steals. Kristina Lurken * (Jr., Kenyon, Minn./Kenyon-Wanamingo HS) and Katie LaGrave * (Jr., Okinawa, Japan/Kadena HS) had 11 points apiece, with Lurken adding six assists and four steals, and LaGrave hitting three 3-pointers with five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Jacci Mattern (So., Lakeville, Minn.) scored 10 points.

Northwestern led from start-to-finish in the game, though Augsburg trimmed a 17-point second-half advantage to as close as four points in the waning minutes. LaGrave and Krumrie scored nine points apiece for the Auggies in the second half.

The Eagles connected on nine 3-pointers as a team, with Tuseth going 5-for-6 from long range. As a team, the Eagles hit 47.5 percent (19-of-40) from the field and 64.7 percent (22-of-34) from the free-throw line. Northwestern committed 29 turnovers in the game, while Augsburg committed 28.

Augsburg shot 38.9 percent (21-of-54) from the field, including 5-of-12 (41.7 percent) from three-point range. The Auggies hit 50 percent (13-of-26) from the free-throw line, and outrebounded Northwestern by a 36-32 margin.

Kelly Sir (Jr., Cresco, Iowa/Crestwood HS) had nine points for the Eagles, while Julie Ross (Sr., New Hope, Minn./Robbinsdale Cooper HS) had eight rebounds, nine assists and five points.

Michelle Richter (So., Chaska, Minn.) scored six points with nine rebounds, three assists and five steals for the Auggies.

Augsburg returns to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Wednesday (1/3) at 7:45 p.m., hosting Hamline at Si Melby Hall. Northwestern is off until Friday, Jan. 12 at 5:30 p.m., with an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference game at St. Scholastica.
