MINNEAPOLIS -- Michaela Michaelson (JR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) scored four straight goals to give her St. Catherine University women's hockey team a 4-1 win over host Augsburg College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Saturday evening at the Augsburg Ice Arena.
St. Catherine (4-0-0 overall, 2-0-0 MIAC) outshot Augsburg (0-6-0 overall, 0-2-0 MIAC) by a 54-24 margin to score the victory, ralling from a 1-0 first-period deficit.

Elise Hedlund (JR, Robbinsdale, Minn./Cooper HS) scored on an assist from
Whitney Pratt (JR, Mitchell, S.D.).
But Michaelson brought the Wildcats back into the game, scoring four straight goals -- at the 8:27 mark of the second period from Kayla Clafton (SO, Grand Rapids, Minn.), at the 16:23 mark of the second period from Katie Lawler (JR, Cottage Grove, Minn.), at the 2:28 mark of the third period from Anna Sombrio (FY, Buffalo, Minn.), and into an empty net at the 19:04 mark.

Toni Menth (SR, Buffalo, Minn.) recorded 50 saves, while Kayla Lange (FY, Andover, Minn.) had 23 saves for St. Catherine.
Augsburg returns to MIAC play on Dec. 4-5 with a series against St. Benedict. St. Catherine faces St. Mary's in a MIAC series Dec. 4-5.
