Schrank nets double-double

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. -- Tracee Schrank (FY, Reedsburg, Wis.) collected her first collegiate double-double, scoring 15 points with 10 rebounds and three steals, for Augsburg College in the Auggies' 65-52 loss at Bethel University in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball game on Wednesday evening at the Robertson Center.

Brittany Dyshaw (FY, Eagan, Minn.) scored 14 points with six points, three steals and two assists, marking her sixth double-figure scoring effort, and third in her last four games, for the Auggies (1-11 overall, 1-8 MIAC). Micha Sater (FY, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) had nine points, and Shannon Renne (JR, Nicollet, Minn.) scored six points with five rebounds.

For Bethel (4-8 overall, 3-6 MIAC), Scotti Moats scored 20 points with 12 rebounds, while Kristi Nye had 16 points, and Shana Grejtak scored six points with 11 rebounds and three assists.

The Auggies kept the game close most of the way, as Bethel led just 31-28 at halftime. Neither team led by more than seven points until the final five minutes of the game, as an 11-0 Royal run over a 3:52 span gave the Royals a 52-40 lead with 4:19 to play.

Augsburg returns to MIAC play on Saturday (1/16) at 1 p.m., hosting Carleton at Si Melby Hall.
