MOUNT VERNON, Iowa -- Jordan Feis (FY, Truman, Minn./Truman HS) scored a career-high 11 points to lead Augsburg College, but the Auggies women's basketball team fell to Clarke University, 66-45 in the final round of the Cornell College Classic on Saturday afternoon at the Cornell Multi-Sport Center.

Also scoring in double-digits for the Auggies was Serenae Levine (JR, Eden Prairie, Minn.) with 10 points. Levine added six rebounds and three assists. Nikki Borkhuis (JR, Watertown, S.D.) also had a solid afternoon for the Auggies finishing with seven points, six rebounds and five steals.

The Auggies struggled offensively in the first half, connecting on just 20 percent (6-of-30) of their shots, but played an evenly matched second half scoring 23 points to Clarke's 26. The Crusaders first half lead proved too much to overcome as Augsburg fell to Clarke 66-45.

Augsburg returns to action on Nov. 30 for their home opener against Northwestern College-Roseville.
