"A great win tonight. The players were prepared and totally committed to the game," said Augsburg head coach

St. Thomas outshot Augsburg by a 23-9 margin in the game, but Auggie goalkeeper
Diana Bocklund (SO, Pine Springs, Minn./Mahtomedi HS) came up with nine saves to preserve the win. Callan Faulkner (SO, Edina, Minn.) had three saves in a losing effort.
Augsburg returns to action on Tuesday (9/21) at 6 p.m., hosting Wisconsin-La Crosse at Edor Nelson Field. St. Thomas returns to action on Wednesday (9/22) at 4 p.m., hosting Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
"Despite the joy in winning, this game was taxing, and we will have to recover quickly for our match on Tuesday against UW-La Crosse," Navarre said.
