Tracee Schrank (SO, Reedsburg, Wis./Reedsburg HS) led the Augsburg College women's basketball team with 14 points and five rebounds in a 71-45 loss to league-leading Concordia College in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action on Wednesday night at Si Melby Hall.
Schrank finished with a team-high 14 points and added two steals for the Auggies.
Serenae Levine (JR, Eden Prairie, Minn.) collected a team-high seven rebounds and added five points and four assists in 22 minutes of action.
Concordia was led by Erica Nord, who finished with 15 points, nine rebounds and a pair of assists.
Augsburg struggled offensively in the first half allowing the Cobbers to take a 36-13 lead at the intermission. The tough Cobber defense held the Auggies to 29.0 percent (18-of-62) from the field for the game, while Concordia connected on 41.1 percent (30-of-73) of its shots. The Cobbers claimed a 52-41 advantage on the boards and forced 28 Auggie turnovers, while committing 16.
Augsburg and Concordia both return on Saturday (1/8) with Augsburg traveling to Bethel and Concordia traveling to Saint Benedict.
