Auggies stopped 3-0 at Bethel

BLAINE, Minn. -- Grace Edgar (SR, Plano, Texas/Plano West HS) collected 38 saves in goal, as Augsburg College dropped a 3-0 decision to Bethel University in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's hockey game on Saturday afternoon at the Schwan SuperRink.

Allison Papko scored two goals for Bethel (12-9-2 overall, 9-5-2 MIAC), while Biz Huss had a goal and an assist. Jess Newstrom stopped all 17 shots she faced for the Royals in goal.

Bethel outshot Augsburg (3-17-1 overall, 1-14-1 MIAC) by a 41-17 margin in the game. Edgar's 38 saves marks the fifth time she has collected 30 or more saves in goal in her 11 starts this season.

Emilie Ball (FY, Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) recorded four shots on goal for the Auggies, while Whitney Pratt (SR, Mitchell, S.D.) had three shots.

Augsburg closes its season with a series against Gustavus. Next Friday's (2/25) game is at 7 p.m. in St. Peter, while next Saturday's (2/26) game is at 7 p.m. at Ed Saugestad Rink.
