QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "This was a battle. Prior to this game, we had two cautions in the MIAC portion of our season and just nine overall through 14 games -- lowest in the league. We picked up an armful today, and the way the game was being called, either team could have been on nine players at the end -- either through injury or the laws of the game. It was one of those."
• "I loved our effort today. The guys worked as hard as they could, no doubt about that. Unfortunately, we were undone on two set pieces. One directly, and the second goal because we didn't clear the initial service and they made us pay on the second chance."
• "Great credit to St. John's for their persistence and quality. I have great respect for their coaching staff, and they have a determined group. We wish them the best moving forward."
• "Hopefully on Saturday, we can transfer some of the great effort from the past two games into a result when we host Gustavus, who lost again today to Macalester. What a great league!"

UP NEXT
• Augsburg hosts Gustavus next Saturday (10/25) at 1 p.m. at Edor Nelson Field.
• Saint John's travels to face Saint Mary's next Saturday at 4 p.m.
