No. 25 Auggies victorious in Winona

WINONA, Minn. -- The No. 25-ranked Augsburg College volleyball team improved to 20-4 overall (8-1 MIAC) with a four-set victory over Saint Mary's University in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match on Saturday afternoon. The Auggies were led by Colleen Ourada (SR, Omaha, Neb./Mercy HS), who recorded 19 kills, 15 digs and five blocks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Ourada finished with 19 kills with an attack percentage of .348, commiting just three errors in 46 attack attempts.
• Ashley Peper (JR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) recorded 16 kills with an attack percentage of .300, committing four errors in 40 attack attempts. Peper finished with 10 digs and five blocks as well. 
• Setter Courtney Lemke (SO, Brownton, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake HS) dished out 48 assists, to go along with eight digs, two blocks (one solo) and a service ace.
• Libero Mackensie Menke (SR, Prior Lake, Minn./Shakopee HS) finished with a match-best 28 digs, to go along with one ace. 
• Middle hitter Jessica Lillquist (JR, Sebeka, Minn.) recorded seven kills and a equalied Ourada and Peper's block totals with five.
• Taylor Linn (FY, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) recorded a match-best seven blocks, to go along with her four kills. 
• Ellen Sachs (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) finished with six kills with a .333 attack percentage and one block. 
• As a team, Augsburg recorded 13 blocks compared to the Cardinals' three.
• The Auggies finished with an attack percentage of .300, finishing the Cardinals off in the fourth set with a match-high .371. Augsburg tallied 54 kills and 12 errors in 140 attack attempts. 
• Saint Mary's hit .146 in the match, with 57 kills and 31 errors in 178 attempts.
 
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
• Augsburg has not lost to Saint Mary's since it was swept on Sept. 15, 2010 at Si Melby Hall in Minneapolis. 
• The Auggies have not lost at Saint Mary's since Oct. 12, 2005, when the Cardinals beat them in four sets. 
• Augsburg is ranked fourth in the Central region, it was announced on Thursday (10/23). The ranking did not factor in Augsburg's two most recent victories. 
• Peper and Ourada are ranked first and second in the MIAC's overall statistics with 359 and 299 total kills, respectively. 
 
FOR THE FOES
• Mary Nordick finished with 15 kils to lead three Cardinals in double figures. Kenzie Lind and Macki Fadness chipped in 11 and 10 kills respectively. 
• Lex Krogstad recorded a team-best 25 digs, while Tayler MacVey finished with 28 assists.
