HOW IT HAPPENED
• After Saint Mary's tied the game at 2-2 with 7:36 left to play, the Auggies took the lead less than three minutes later, when Ollor scored his first goal of the season, sliding the ball on the right side to Clinton and receiving the ball back in position to put it in an open net.
• Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Auggies tied the game 36 seconds into the second half, when Tanner McCarthy (SR, Windsor Heights, Iowa/Dowling Catholic HS) scored on a blast from the top of the penalty box. Clinton was credited with the assist.
• The Auggies took the lead at the 57:21 mark, when Ben Henry (SO, Manitowoc, Wis./Lincoln HS) headed home a cross from Jason Scheeler (FY, Blaine, Minn.), following a feed from Sam Connor (JR, Becket, Mass./Williston Northampton School).

• Augsburg took control of the tempo of the game through most of the second half, outshooting Saint Mary's 16-6 in the period, en route to a 23-10 shots advantage in the game.
• Nick Lenertz (SO, Newport, Minn./Park HS) had three saves in goal for Augsburg.
• Henry had seven shots for the Auggies, while Clinton and Edi Becerra (SR, Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Minneapolis Southwest HS) had three shots each.

QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "We generated a lot of quality chances tonight, and fortunately scored enough of them to make up for the two set pieces we conceded. Credit to their goalkeeper for three incredible goal-line saves in a two-three minute span. He was fantastic."
• "This group showed some resiliency as well. Coming out of the locker room down 1-0 and scoring within 36 seconds of the kickoff was impressive. There was a determination from the guys to put their foot on the game. At 2-1, it didn't feel entirely safe because we were squandering chances, so when they got level off the long throw I was curious how we would respond. The response was tremendous, as Chinyan made a darting run up the right flank on the ball and worked a quick little sequence with Scott to put away the game-winner."
• "Scott (Clinton), Jason (Scheeler) and Grant Griffin (SR, Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy HS) were particularly noticeable tonight."
• "Now we have to recover and travel in over the lunch hour to Wisconsin to take on a very good UW-Superior team. Those guys are fast, ferocious, and they can bang goals in so it will be another good nonconference test to prepare us for the next league game on Tuesday. "
