Auggies fall 2-0 at Macalester

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Outshot by a 12-6 margin, the Augsburg College women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to host Macalester College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Saturday evening at Macalester Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Auggies surrendered goals in the 11th and 71st minutes in the loss.
• Macalester outshot Augsburg by a 5-3 margin in the first half and a 7-3 margin in the second half. The Scots also had four corner kicks to Augsburg's three.
• Nora Edelen (FY, Middleton, Wis.) and Jane Koch (FY, Burnsville, Minn.) had two shots each for Augsburg.
• Marissa Guillou (SO, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) had four saves in goal for the Auggies.

FOR THE FOES
• Jamie Hasama scored both goals for Macalester -- a shot from 13 yards out from Clara Webby at the 10:30 mark, and a header off a cross from Rae Hohle at the 70:37 mark.
• Rachel Wilson-King had three saves for Macalester.
