Augsburg volleyball falls to Bethel

ARDEN HILLS, Minn.-- The Augsburg College volleyball team finished its regular season at 19-9 overall with a three-set loss to host Bethel University in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match on Saturday evening at the Robertson Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg's offense struggled to get into a rhythm on the road Saturday, finishing with a hitting percentage of .150 with 34 kills on 127 attempts and 15 errors.
• Bethel recorded an attack percentage of .250 with 49 kills on 132 attempts and 16 errors, but also finished with five service aces compared to zero for the Auggies. 
• Ashley Peper (SR, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson HS) finished with 11 kills and 11 digs.
• Fellow senior Jessica Lillquist (SR, Sebeka, Minn.) and Jordan Weeding (SO, Greenfield, Minn./Rockford HS) finished with six kills apiece, while Jaelyn Arndt recorded five kills, three digs and two blocks. 
• Courtney Lemke (JR, Brownton, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake HS) dished out 16 assists and chipped in eight digs, while Macey Terhell (FY, Osceola, Minn.) finished with a game-high 21 digs. 

FOR THE FOES
• Tegan LaBerge led the Royals with a match-high 12 kills, while Kristin Stern and Carlee Hoppe each recorded 11 kills. 
• Katie Lubben finished with 23 assists and 12 digs, while Kali Johnson recorded 16 assists.
