ST. THOMAS, Minn. -- The Augsburg College softball team ended its season with a loss in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the University of St. Thomas. • Boyer homered again in the bottom of the third, making the score 5-0. The Tommies were off and running, eventually running the score to 15 after seven runs in the third and five more in the fourth.
• St. Thomas finished game one with 13 hits, compared to Augsburg's one.Â

Lauren Torborg (SO, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) was the lone Auggie to record a hit, going 1-for-2.

Lindsay Helbach (SR, Amherst, Wis.) reached on a walk, and finished 0-for-1 as the only other Augsburg player to reach base.Â
• St. Thomas' Kendra Bowe and Breezy Bannon combined for the five inning one-hit shutout as they struck out eight.
• Helbach started game one throwing 3.1 innings before
Courtney Larsen (FY, Little Canada, Minn./Concordia Academy) closed out the game pitching the final two outs. All 15 runs (10 earned) were charged to Helbach as the Tommies hot bats could not be stiffled and they finished with four homeruns in game one.
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS
• The hot Tommie bats did not cool off before game two, as they scored two runs in the first inning, six in the second and three in the third inning to take a 11-0 lead.• The Auggies plated a run in the fourth inning, when Helbach singled to center field, scoring
Brianna Cline (FY, St. Claire, Minn.) from second base, but it would be the only run the Auggies could muster in the two games at South Field.
• Augsburg recorded three hits in game two, and St. Thomas finished with 13.

Jenna Orth went 1-for-2 with a double, while Helbach and Cline each went 1-for-2 as well.
• Larsen
started game two for the Auggies, throwing 3.1 innings before being relieved by Bekka Kelly (SR, Columbia Heights, Minn.) for the final two outs. FOR THE FOES• Annie Boyer went 4-for-5 with two home runs, a double and six RBI.• Breezy Brannon pitched 1.0 inning in game one and 3.2
in game two allowing just four hits and one earned run, while striking out six. Kendra Bowe pitched 4.0 innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out six as well.
