MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg College volleyball team was able to emerge victorius in a scrappy four-set match against Macalester College on Wednesday night at Si Melby Hall. With the win, the Auggies remain unbeaten in conference play and sit alone at the top of the MIAC standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After dropping the first set, Augsburg was able to rebound and decisively claimed sets two and three, while hanging on to claim the fourth set and match victory. The Auggies have never lost to Macalester in Coach Becker's tenure, with the last Macalester victory over the Auggies coming in the 2006 season.
• Augsburg was again led by
Courtney Lemke (SR, Brownton, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake HS), who had her best statistical night of the season, posting a season-high 41 assists and 20 digs, while adding a pair of kills. This is marks back-to-back matches with 40-plus assists for Lemke.

Jaelyn Arndt (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS) and
Taylor Linn (JR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) led the Auggie offensive attack with 14 and 10 kills respectively.

Macey Terhell (SO, Osceola, Wis.) led the Augsburg defense with 24 digs. Terhell has posted double-digit digs in all but two matches this season.
• For the match, Augsburg posted eight team blocks compared to just four for Macalester and outhit the Scots .106 to .012.
FOR THE FOES
• Clara Baumann led the Macalester offense with nine kills while posting a match-high 27 digs.
• Alexis Foret finished with 20 digs in a solid defensive effort for the Scots.
